This is so true, of course. Some of us may seem to have an Eeyore mentality towards life, but there are some bright moments from time-to-time.

For example, my beautiful DaMSeL's Birthday was this past Friday (22 Jul - and, no, we AREN'T counting). I sent her a couple of Hallmark ecards on top of the one I purchased. At the end of the ecards I added a little poetry of my own. (See, I told you I might slip so in every once and a while.)

The first example came out something like this:

Yes, she got teary on me. Okay, it's kinda sappy, too. But hey, She likes it, I like it and I got me some gooooodddd hug-time with my sweetie.

Yes, there's a theme there, too. I may be using these verses for my next song I'm kinda taking it slow on that one. I haven't written a new song in quite a few years. I haven't been keeping up on my guitar for a while, so the calaus just isn't there any more.
